Dear friends!

Welcome to Russia, to Kazan Federal University, to the summer International School of Informatics for Juniors!

The school starts in the year of the 30th anniversary of IOI.

Our goal is to create an open international platform for the exchange of experience of the IOI countries to prepare young students for the Olympiad Informatics based on the best practices. I am sure that the countries that started this project - Russia, China, Bulgaria and the Netherlands - will become moderators of the international Coaching Council of the school, will integrate the best methods of training for beginners, which will allow other countries to join and go together to the high achievements in the Olympiads in Informatics.

I wish you all successful cooperation and a high start!

The project of the International School of Informatics for juniors was initiated by Russia and Bulgaria for creative interaction of Olympiad Informatics teachers of IOI member countries.

Combining the experience of different countries, we plan to direct the best methods of school Informatics to the early development of talented children – citizens of the digital society of the 21st century. Today's students will become developers of new complex cyber-physical systems in the global digital economy, and our task is to discover the talent of juniors in the field of Informatics.

We wish successful cooperation to the Coaching Council, Scientific and Technical Committee and experts from the countries-participants of the international school, and to the students - the highest achievements in the Olympiad Informatics!

Director of the International School of Informatics,

Head of the Coaching Council,

Professor RANS, expert of the Education Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation
